you never know...

These days, you never know what's going to come out of the mouth of our little girl.  Every day, she says something and I think, "Oh my, I need to write that down!"  But, who has time to do that at the end of each day.  The end of my day usually consists of washing a load of clothes, putting up a load of clothes, running and emptying the dishwasher, rinsing out lunchboxes and then getting clothes and show and tells ready for the next day.  Not much time for writing :)

So, I'm going to write some of the cutest things she has said over the past week........

We're driving back from my parents house and we get close to our house... Claire says, "Mommy are we back home? Are we in..... in.... what's the name?  I say,"Sylacauga"  She says "Oh yes, Sylacauga..." and she continues to say it over and over (I guess it is a hard word to remember)  Then, she says, "Watch my mouth mommy." And she says it really precise and says, "That word makes my mouth look pretty."

I picked Claire up from school and she says, "Hey mommy, I have a story for you.  Once upon a time, there was a little girl and she was in her car seat.  Her name was Holly.  Then she had a mommy driving their white car.  The mommy's name was Claire and she had on a really pretty outfit that day. She asked her friends, "you like my outfit?" The end."

We wake up one morning and Claire sees my cereal.  She says, "I want that cereal."  So get her some cereal and she sits at the table and gobbles it up really fast.  When she's done she says, "Now I'm stronger, see my muscles?"  Then she squeezes her fists together and strains and shakes all over.

I was putting Claire to bed the other night and we got out a story.  She said, "Mommy, Adam and Eve didn't mind but Noah did."  I was like, wow, not only has she been listening, she's getting the whole point!  I asked her what happened to Adam and Eve.  She says, "Well, the girl gave the boy the fruit.  And they didn't mind God (you can tell we talk a lot about minding these days)  I asked her who told them to eat the fruit. She says, "I don't know, but not God!"

We love our little girl so much!  At times I think she is the biggest stinker there ever was, and at others, I think she's the cutest and most precious little girl I've ever met!  She's our little Claire Bear!

Oh and an update on Clymer, he is starting to take steps!!! Pictures soon!! He's has the Hand foot and mouth virus this past week/weekend, so pictures weren't so pretty :)
