family time!

This past week I started it off by trying to take some 1 year photos of Clymer.  He has always been the most photogenic baby..... well, this was the best one I got.  When we first went outside, he found Claire's yellow gardening shovel and you guessed it! All he wanted to do was dig in the dirt.  If I tried to make him sit or look at the camera he just turned on his newly developed high pitched squeal!  This is him when I made him sit on the step........if only the picture had sound!

The rest of the week was spent with family!  Each summer, Rob's family comes down from Virginia and we always look forward to it!  Claire is really getting to the age where she enjoys playing with some girl cousins and she is already asking when Hannah and Karis are coming back.

Here we are at Heather and Michael's one night.... I think they ended up cooking around 20 pizzas!  Each night we got together, I intened on taking more pictures. Taking care of children and eating occupied most of my time I guess!  I regret now not having more pictures!

Some of the cooking chaos...Mrs. Mary Love was making dough... so was Heather (at this moment she was probably chasing after Anderson somewhere and that's why she's absent from the picture) Daddy Daddy putting on toppings and Michael pulling a pizza out of the pizza oven.

A fantastic dessert made by Mrs. Debbie!  I definitely am going to try this recipe before the summer is over!

Hannah chowing down on some fresh pizza!

Clymer pretending to eat his favorite food!  He eats one every day.  And I just noticed... each time I post a picture of Clymer, he seems to be wearing this same monkey outfit!  I promise he has more clothes!

Before going over to swim one afternoon, Claire decided to be so sweet and share her Sonic drink.  Here lately, Clymer points to any kind of food or drink and says, "UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM."  Frozen chicken thawing on the counter... "Ummmmmmm."  Coffee in mom's hand, "Ummmmmmm."

It's really cute how he thinks he needs to taste anything and it's crazy how they know when something is food.  Well, on this day, he took a sip of Claire's drink and said "Ummmmmmm" louder than ever before!  It was really cute.  Then of course, he turned on the high pitch squeal when she wouldn't give him any more!

Another part of the sibling love this week was spent RUNNING around the house.  Clymer has always gotten a kick out of anything Claire does... he always laughs... but her running around the house tops it all!  He takes off trying to run after her and laughing so hard that he falls down most of the time.  When she stops, he starts stomping his feet like he is running in place.  Here it is in action...

Claire taking a break from all the running.................

Do you think Clymer took a rest? No, he kept on running, into the kitchen that is.  Grabbed a spoon out of one of the kitchen drawers and continued running to the nearest plant and pretended to cook it.  Yup, that's life at our house.  Doesn't that make you wanna come visit?? Or perhaps, volunteer to be our live in nanny!? =)

Each afternoon from 2:00-3:00, Claire went to Princess Camp at the studio.  One of Heather's former did this darling camp and Claire really enjoyed it!  Once again, wish I had more pictures... I've got to get better at that!  But, here are some pictures from the last day of camp.... which was a Tea Party!! It was so cute and the girls had a blast!

Claire and Miss Caroline

 She wanted purple princess hair....

And with all those princesses running around, we did manage to find a prince!  And look at what he is wearing!! The same outfit! This is hilarious...
