The most wonderful time of the year!

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!  Why?  Because we celebrate Jesus' Birthday of course!  And during this time, we can do other wonderful things to help others celebrate as well!  We've been SUPER busy these past few weeks... seriously!  Every afternoon or night, we've had something going on... it's been crazy but I'm not complanining though because these are memories that I will cherish always!  This first batch of pictures are from 2 weeks ago....each year, Heather takes the kids from DPAC over to the Nursing Home and does a performance for them.. It is such a joy and blessing to see the smiles that are brought to the residents' faces though the joy of little kids.  I over heard one lady say this year, "Three year old girls dancing, it doesn't get any more presious than that!"  Last year, Claire just stood in one spot and didn't move!  This year, she understood what we were doing and she did great!  We talked about how we can help people celebrate Christmas... people who can't really get out and drive anywhere.  On the ride to the Nursing home, I told her I wanted her to make sure she looked at their faces when she danced because if she did, she would see their big smiles and how she could help make them happy.  We got in the car and she said, "Mommy, I saw their smiles!"

That morning when we were talking about the Nursing Home, Claire wanted to know if Clymer was going to come and watch her. :)  They have become quite the little buds :)

I love this picture.!!! Heather always has so much energy!  She is always smiling in class and this is a perfect picture to show it!!

This second batch of pics is from the "Polar Express Train Ride" in Calera.  We had to buy these tickets 4th of July weekend... yeah I know, Craxy!  But, it was one of the cutest things I think you could do with your family at Christmas!  Now, getting there was a whole other blog post in it self... we thought we were seriously going to miss the train due to a wreck... but we made it! Rob let us out in the middle of the road so we could run to the train...Anderson announces he has to pee, so then so does Claire... he pees on a tree... Claire's never done that before so she freaked out a little and decided she would hold it....we get back in line and and Heather and I are talking, we look over and Anderson has his pants to his ankles... he is showing Claire how he tt'd on the tree... the news camera comes by...we are laughing and are SO GLAD when we finally get on that train!  We were just glad the conductor was nicer on this train than in the movie!  Claire loved it of couse, so did Clymer.... it was a great time!

So this is not the greatest picture... but who cares! We made it on the train!!!
